Jamie Butkovic (1.) and Terri Cahill (r.) visit with Melissa Etheridge backstage at her concert in Minneapolis. This special make-a-wish type visit was arranged by Cleveland Lesbian-Gay Pride Inc. and the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland as a result of a letter delivered to Etheridge at a Cleveland appearance this past summer. An active AIDS advocate and fundraiser, Etheridge extended concert tickets and backstage passes to Terri, a woman living with AIDS, and her escort, to fulfill Cahill's long-time wish of meeting the rock star.
